A Week-end in Mexico

Wow, did we have a busy week-end or what. Paul took us to the condo on Friday night. We arrived at 9pm. The kids were so wound up that at 6:30 am Emily was already saying I want to go to the pool. Well weather wise it was warm and windy. The Santa-anna's were blowing everything, every where. So the kids spent most of the time in the hot tub with Paul. Later Saturday afternoon, it was low tide. I don't think I have ever seen it this low. The kids walked out as far as they could looking for any sea creatures that they could find. We got a picture of one of three star fish and lots of pictures of corral. One thing that was interesting was the local man with his bucket fishing? He had a steel pole and kept poking under the rocks where there was still a little water left. Maybe lobster? The highlight for me, not, for the those of you close to me, was the return trip to the USA. We finally got a fast pass to get across, Sunday morning we left a little before 8am and got home by 10am. I think that is an all time record. We crossed the border in 8 minutes, yes count them, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. I was so excited I shouted for joy!! Now that the dread of coming home is not so horrifying, I think we will plan to go more often? Here are a few pics from the week-end, keep in mind Steven is now an amature photographer.

Great Hair Cuts!

Well I have been wanting to get my hair cut forever. I took some time to myself today and got it done. When Emily saw my new hair cut she said. I want to get my hair cut like you. Well we had scissors at home and a bored mommy, so she got a hair cut.

Emily Shows Off

Well here she is in living color!

Haunted Houses

We have had our share of scary houses this year. Friday night the kids went through the ward haunted house made by the young men and then Saturday night we went to the public library where they had a haunted house. Kimberly came home Monday asking if she could make her own haunted house ( at least with hers we had a treat for family night).

Trunk or Treat

It's always fun to get a little crazy. Emily was a princess and Kimberly a witch. Steven was an injured chargers player and Tiffany was a pioneer. I of course went for the crazy, black widow.

Are you cool enough to do this?

Steven has been fighting me on getting his hair cut. So I thought I would be the "cool mom" for once.

Paul's Safe Haven

Well, we are finally in the condo. Enjoying every minute we get to spend there.

Guardian Angels

Do you know who your guardian angel is? I do. It is my wonderful mother. Life just wouldn't be the same without her. Love you mom.

Yes I am bias

These little boys are the cutest in the world.
My nephews Owen and Noah.

Overcoming fears

Steven has now turned eleven and has finally conquered the fear of heights. Way to go Steven!!

Once a princess always a princess

Kimberly was in a school production for 3rd grade and she of course was none other than a princess.

Prima Ballerina

Emily has started taking a ballet and tap class at Studio 31. She absolutely loves dancing. Monday mornings she asks me is it my turn yet? She looks so much like her sisters its scary.

Tiffany Toothless

Bribing always works in this house. Well we all know how easy going Tiffany is, yeah right, I talked her into letting me try to pull out her top teeth. We only got one out,but when I was done ( 15 minutes of crying before even touching her) she said," that didn't hurt."
