Girls early christmas present..

After watching Kimberly get her ears pierced and not crying, Tiffany asked for hers to be done. They did one at a time and she said " that didn't even hurt". They are looking at themselves in the mirror more if that is even possible.

Tiffany's Mission Project and Art

Tiffany is quite the artist. For her mission project she made a mission out of graham crackers and decorated like a gingerbread house. I love project based learning. She had so much fun learning about the California Missions. Tiffany made this water color in her Aunt's Art class. Tiffany loves having her aunt at school everyday.

Emily's missing her front teeth.

For her birthday Emily got to go get her hair done at the salon. Isn't she so grown up. All she wants for Christmas is her two front teeth...and an American Girl Doll.

Repelling

Steven went rock repelling with the young men at church. He had so much fun, he wants to go again as a family and take his sisters. He unfortunately got home late and had to get up at 5:30 the next morning for school. Needless to say he was tired the next day. He has made so many friends since we've moved. His social calender is busier than all of us girls combined.

Glen Helen Water Park

The next best thing to raging waters was this park...water slides with no lines and not too long of a drive. Steven was my camera man, he is getting better with the camera. Grandma even went on the slides.

Our adopted missionaries

We have been blessed with two great Elders in our ward and they have become part of the gang. We stopped to see Elder Green's family in St. George on our way home from camping. We ended up visiting for two hours, what a great family, but we knew that because he's great. Elder Goff is a silly kid, he wanted to wear my mother's day hat that Emily made at school. He let Kimberly take all sorts of crazy pictures, including the holes in the bottom of his shoes.

Steven now knows everything...

Steven turned 13 on our trip to Utah. He got to ride his very own quad for two days (thanks to grandma and grandpa). The girls loved riding the quads too, they kept begging any adult not riding to get on and go. They especially loved riding with Uncle Jimmy and Craig, because they went fast and down crazy hills. It was so fun seeing everyone and camping in the crazy weather, rain, sun and snow. Can't wait to do it again....not too soon though.

Hoover What?

For spring break we took a trip to vegas and the Hoover dam. We took the tour that takes you down into the power plant. Our tour guide was very funny, she kept saying, we don't say the "L" word here. (leaks) they say seepage instead. We also got to be in two states at once, neveda and arizona. We had awesome weather for our trip, every evening the kids would go swimming in the pool for an hour or so. They did a great job in the car, thank goodness for dvd players.

All the cousins...

We got to see my brother's kids from utah when they came for spring break. I can't believe the oldest one is graduating from high school. Way to go Emilee, that is the other Emily, if you noticed we have two in our family and they love sharing their name. Kyle is the tall one in back, he is eye level with me and only 13, wow. Thanks Kasey for driving thru the snow storm. It was fun to see everyone.

New addition to our camping family.

The girls were so excited when they finally got to meet Ellie. My best friend Taryn had baby number four on February 24th. I got to be with her from start to finish. If you can believe it i actually stayed up for more than 24 hours, that is a record i don't plan on beating any time soon. But she was worth it! Taryn got to have a water birth, which she was so excited about until we told her during hard labor that she had to get up and move to the tub. We are so excited for the clawson family and can't wait to spend more time with her this summer.

I'm innocent, I swear!

There was a court room set up in the Sheriff's museum and Kimberly wanted to be a witness. She looks guilty right?

more traveling

We packed in our lunch so we could have more time playing.
Steven is dressed up with authentic Mormon Battalion Loot.
The kids panned for gold like in the olden days.
La Jolla has some awesome trees to climb in.
The seals are just basking in the sun. Tiffany loved seeing the seals.

The travelers

We spent some time in Old Town San Diego over the long week-end. Do the kids look excited about who is in the back seat? They all took turns driving the police cruiser. We also got to visit the first San Diego Mission, Kimberly had a mission project due soon and we got some great pictures and information to do her report. Thanks grandma for your help.

Children's Museum in Vegas**

Steven made the tallest tower he could, he had quite an audience when he was done, the record by the way is 52'. Kimberly tried but hers kept falling down. Tiffany found a stage to perform on and she loved it. She dressed up in every outfit and did a dance on the stage, with curtain and all. Emily found a bubble section that she was mesmerized by.
