Hoover What?
For spring break we took a trip to vegas and the Hoover dam. We took the tour that takes you down into the power plant. Our tour guide was very funny, she kept saying, we don't say the "L" word here. (leaks) they say seepage instead. We also got to be in two states at once, neveda and arizona. We had awesome weather for our trip, every evening the kids would go swimming in the pool for an hour or so. They did a great job in the car, thank goodness for dvd players.
All the cousins...
New addition to our camping family.

Children's Museum in Vegas**
Steven made the tallest tower he could, he had quite an audience when he was done, the record by the way is 52'. Kimberly tried but hers kept falling down. Tiffany found a stage to perform on and she loved it. She dressed up in every outfit and did a dance on the stage, with curtain and all. Emily found a bubble section that she was mesmerized by.

Move on over, I'm passing you!!
We got to take our cousin Owen to the roller skating rink with us today. Wow the kids really did awesome for their first time. Steven rode inline skates but the girls all did the traditional skates, even Emily made it around the rink a dozen times. Tiffany was a pro, she went out without any help and said mom this is so easy..

Yee Haa
We went to the local pumkin patch and the girls rode on some ponies. Emily was the most excited out of them all because she just loves horses, about as much as Kimberly loves dogs. She asked for a pony for her birthday. Steven did an excellent job being the photographer, he thinks he is too old to ride ponies...The kids also ran crazy in the corn maze and got to watch pig races. I love having these kinds of Saturdays.

Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures....
Mom got us four rolls of toilet paper for free by signing up to do a survey about how we use the toilet paper. So, for one week we have to record each time we use the toilet paper and how well we liked it....some of the things they want to know are...how many times did you pull the paper?...how many sheets did you use?....did you fold it, scrunch it, wrap around your hand...there are 36 toilet paper diary entries available....i laughed so hard reading the instructions that i was crying..hope you all enjoy this one!

There's more..
This was the favorite night because we roasted hot dogs and then smores!
Kimberly has told me she is going to have two kids and four dogs! she is my animal lover...but who could resist Jack Jack..
Water balloon toss was entertaining until steven got involved and thru one at kimberly's stomach..ouch!
Just chilling out!
more fun in the sun...
Aren't these the cutest kids ever...emily was just digging her cute little toes in the sand...couldn't resist.
Kimberly made a chair out of sand..and filled her swimming suit with the stuff.
Allergic reaction to all the mosquito bites..ouch!
Tiffany found her happy place..a bag of bbq chips and some warm sun.
Steven is getting older by the minute. This year he actually cared whether or not there was sand on his food.
C and C Crew...
The Coonce and Clawson annual camping trip was in July this year. We decided to stay a little closer to home and checked out a new camp ground in Oceanside. The weather was beautiful ,the camping sites huge, just some uninvited guest would come around dusk..mosquitos...yuck! but other than that we had an awesome time. The kids rode their bikes, went on hikes and explored nature..near by lake ( mosquito's home) and saw ducks and geese and rabbits and squirels..but the best part was going to the beach every afternoon and watching the kids body surf or build sand castles..hopefully these pictures show the excitement we experienced!
