FFF!

FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND FAIR. We went to the San Diego County fair for the third year in a row. The kids favorite parts were winning ribbons for corn husking, hula hoops( tiffany won third place), and potatoe sack races( mom won second place). We also saw camels, llamas, pigs, bunnies, elephants, ponies, parrots, and cows. We watched a show with little doggies doing all kinds of tricks. We learned about bees and how they make honey, and the kids did some grocery shopping in the kids grocery store. Some of the pictures are from the bus ride to the car, they still had smiles on their faces after walking for almost 8 hours.

Same Day!

Well we were busy today. After we played at the park with Tiffany and her class. We went to the school to watch Kimberly and all the third graders square dance. That is right, I said square dance. The third graders were learning about life on the frontier when there were one room school houses and they made their own butter. After the dancing was over we got to have a fried chicken picnic with apple pie and all the trimmings. Kimberly even wore my costume from when I danced in the opening ceremonies of the 1984 olympics. Can you believe I still have it. It was a very fun day.

Temple Trip

It's happening right before my eyes and I can't even see it. Steven is twelve now and starting to do all sorts of things. Last weekend he went on a backpacking trip with the scouts and hiked eight miles to the top of a mountain. Then this week he got to go to the temple for the first time. I of course tagged along, not being able to cut the apron strings yet, he was so excited and inspired. He said he can't wait to go again. You are such a good example to all of us Steven. Thank you, I am so proud of your decisions, keep up the good work.

Blueberries!!!

We went to the Temecula Blueberry Co. and picked our own berries. The kids had a fun time learning about how food grows, but i think it was grandma's favorite outing this year. You can visit their website to learn more about them. www.temeculaberryco.com

Its raining, its pouring, the old man...

We got a wierd storm yesterday. Emily loves to put her swim suit on and play in the rain. She also heard thunder and saw lightning. She was very brave, she wasn't scared at all.
