Kindergarten Mascot..

Emily got to bring home the classroom mascot. Spencer bear is a stuff animal that gets to go home with a friend every night. It is the most exciting homework ever..We get to write a journal entry about what Spencer does with us. Kimberly and Tiffany were both excited to see Spencer again. They had him in kindergarten also..

Proud Parent Corner

Steven made honor-roll for the whole 6th grade year. He got his award just recently for last semester. I am so proud of you Steven for doing your homework and studying for your tests. On another note Steven advanced this year to intermediate band and got 3rd chair out of 10. He is working on challenging the girl who got 1st chair..way to go steven!

Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures....

Mom got us four rolls of toilet paper for free by signing up to do a survey about how we use the toilet paper. So, for one week we have to record each time we use the toilet paper and how well we liked it....some of the things they want to know are...how many times did you pull the paper?...how many sheets did you use?....did you fold it, scrunch it, wrap around your hand...there are 36 toilet paper diary entries available....i laughed so hard reading the instructions that i was crying..hope you all enjoy this one!

UH, OH, SPAGHETTI....

This was my kitchen on Saturday morning. No one touched anything, they just slid out of the pantry and CRASHED to the floor. There was at least 12 Ragu jars...so sad. and very messy! Kimberly was standing right there when it happened and I came rushing out of my room because the noise was so loud.
Yes it took forever to clean up.

Fourth and Third..

Yes that would be correct. Kimberly started 4th grade this year and got the teacher she wanted, Mrs. Murray her friends mom. The first day of school the teacher gave all the kids a shell necklace because she loves hawaii. Kimberly's face lit up as soon as she saw her teacher. She even had homework the first day and didn't complain. You are so smart Kimberly keep studying and you could be anything you want.

Tiffany started 3rd grade after going to summer school. She loves her teacher and there is another Tiffany in her class. She has already done two projects and two oral reports. You are such a great public speaker. She also shared her testimony for the first time in church on fast sunday. She might just be the first woman president!

Do you remember Junior High?

Steven is now in 7th grade. He is taking intermediate band and is loving it. His goal is to play in the marching band in high school. I still remember how much of an adjustment it was being with all those different people. And this year he has 6 different teachers. Keep up the good attitude and everything will turn out great!

Gotta Dance..

This years dance theme was Gotta Dance. They sure did. This was Tiffany's first year doing Jazz and she loved it. Kimberly was so mature looking doing her ballet routine. All your practice paid off. You guys were fantastic!!

There's more..

This was the favorite night because we roasted hot dogs and then smores!

Kimberly has told me she is going to have two kids and four dogs! she is my animal lover...but who could resist Jack Jack..
Water balloon toss was entertaining until steven got involved and thru one at kimberly's stomach..ouch!

Just chilling out!

more fun in the sun...

Aren't these the cutest kids ever...emily was just digging her cute little toes in the sand...couldn't resist.
Kimberly made a chair out of sand..and filled her swimming suit with the stuff.
Allergic reaction to all the mosquito bites..ouch!
Tiffany found her happy place..a bag of bbq chips and some warm sun.
Steven is getting older by the minute. This year he actually cared whether or not there was sand on his food.

C and C Crew...

The Coonce and Clawson annual camping trip was in July this year. We decided to stay a little closer to home and checked out a new camp ground in Oceanside. The weather was beautiful ,the camping sites huge, just some uninvited guest would come around dusk..mosquitos...yuck! but other than that we had an awesome time. The kids rode their bikes, went on hikes and explored nature..near by lake ( mosquito's home) and saw ducks and geese and rabbits and squirels..but the best part was going to the beach every afternoon and watching the kids body surf or build sand castles..hopefully these pictures show the excitement we experienced!

What time is it? Camping time!

Emily and Xander were crazy surfers...they would go out on the boogie boards and surf..even wipeout and get right back in...
